Situated in-between a vegan restaurant and what looks like a cannabis-vending machine!! 

What’s going on here then?

Italy, known for everything wonderful, beautiful people, incredible culture, amazing food, fashion, design, architecture, philosophy and way of life. If something is made in Italy, the whole world knows that the quality will be superb. It is from this vantage point that I am so excited to explore the innovative new vegan businesses that are popping up all over the country, from food to fashion, the family businesses that have transitioned into vegan businesses, and everything in between. So many people doing amazing things and it is here that I want to share my findings with the world,

My name is Zadia and I own a vegan ice cream business in Melbourne Australia, but am in the process of selling the business and moving to Lucca Italy. Like so many others, I have had a lifelong dream to live in Italy, and have purchased a home in Lucca and am getting ready to move very soon. The most amazing thing about my home in Lucca is that there is a vegan restaurant right next door! What an incredible stroke of luck, the only vegan restaurant in Lucca is going to be my next door neighbour! So, if I am too lazy to cook, I can just run down the stairs! Nothing like packing up selling up and moving to another country in the middle of a pandemic with my mother and my dog Pandy in tow, but life is short, and why wait?

I am looking forward to meeting up with vegan business owners, hearing and sharing their stories to help others aspiring entrepreneurs take the plunge and start their own businesses. I also want to help connect these businesses with distributors and retailers in Australia and other parts of the world through my consultancy business Vegan Italy Global.
